I’m intrigued with the use of sand in this recipe. Is it gritty?

    1. (Muri)puffed rice used to make with sand. Hot sand make it puffed. Sand will remain at bottom and puffed rice will blossom on top. Actually it’s a rural art of Muri making, very amazing to see. No its not gritty at all. Thanks for the query.
