Location : West Bengal.

Ingredients : Rice, Coconut, Water, Salt.

Recipe at a Glance : Soak rice with water for 5 hours ⇒ paste (not finely) the rice ⇒ add grated coconut and pinch of salt ⇒ mix it well [add water if required, use your wisdom for thickness of the batter (the thickness is compared to Egg / Dosa)] ⇒ make the Pan (Pitha Sawra) hot ⇒ grease it with oil ⇒ pour the batter into the case of pan ⇒ cover with lid ⇒ bake in medium flame (bubble wholes must be made into Pithas) ⇒ when dried remove them from pan. Need wisdom and expertise to make it perfectly. Indian type Clay Oven and wooden fire is suitable for it.

    1. Traditionally it takes with Jaggery or Gur.

    1. In India they do it manually. Because machine made rice flour is sticky. You need medium fined powder.
