Recipe at a Glance : Boil dal ⇒ chop all vegetables ⇒ fry chopped vegetables ⇒ add turmeric, red chili powder, salt ⇒ cook ⇒ add tamarind juice ⇒ cook ⇒ add sambar powder and boiled dal ⇒ cook ⇒ in a different pan fry red dry chili, mustard seed, curry leaves ⇒ add with dal.
