Ingredients : Wheat, Semolina, Potato, Yellow Pea, Mint, Green Chili, Coriander Leaves, Black Salt, White Salt, Onion, Jaljira, Lime, Water, Oil, Roasted Cumin Powder,
Recipe at a Glance : Four spoons of wheat and one spoon of semolina ⇒ both mix with water and make a tight dough ⇒ season it for one hour with cover.
In the meanwhile ⇒ make a paste of mint, green chili ⇒ add water, black salt, white salt, jaljira, lime, roasted cumin powder, chopped coriander leaves, mix well ⇒ spice water is ready.
Boil potato, yellow pea ⇒ drain water ⇒ add chopped onion, chopped green chili, chopped coriander leaves, roasted cumin powder, black salt, white salt, few spoon of spice water ⇒ knead well ⇒ filling is ready.
After one hour of seasoning ⇒ press the dough in one mm. thickness ⇒ cut in circular shape ⇒ gently press both side with cloth or tissue paper to soak additional water ⇒ deep fry in medium flame to become puffed and after leave them in low flame to be crispy till brownish ⇒ keep them on tissue paper to soak additional oil and turn into normal temperature ⇒ puffed crispy ball is ready.
Now press with thumb and make a hole ⇒ put potato filling ⇒ pour some spice water and enjoy the taste of Gup Chup. ▶️ Video Help
