Location : Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Preference : Veg.

Ingredients : Alu (Potato), Patol (Pointed Gourd), Cumin, Dry Red Chilli, Ginger, Mustard Oil, Salt, Turmeric Powder, Panch Phoron, Bay Leaves, Water, Sugar, Garam Masala.

Recipe at a Glance :

Step 1 : Peel off and chop alu and patol.

Step 2 : Make a paste of cumin, dry red chilli and ginger.

Step 3 : Fry chopped potato.

Step 4 : Add salt, turmeric powder and fry.

Step 5 : Add chopped patol and fry.

Step 6 : Keep aside.

Step 7 : Fry panch phoron, bay leaves, paste, salt, turmeric powder and fry.

Step 8 : Add few spoon of water and fry.

Step 9 : Add fried alu and patol and fry.

Step 10 : Add sugar, garam masala and fry.

Step 11 : Add water and cook with cover to tender. Video Help
