Location : West Bengal.

Preference : Veg.

Ingredients : Lime, Milk, Sugar, Water.

Recipe at a Glance :

Step 1 : Boil milk.

Step 2 : Add lime juice into boiling milk for fermentation of lactose to make chhena.

Step 3 : Filter chhena using a cloth and drain the water as much as possible.

Step 4 : Knead the chhena and make a fine dough.

Step 5 : Make some small balls of chhena using your both palms.

Step 6 : Make a sugar syrup by boiling sugar with water.

Step 7 : Put chhena balls into the boiling sugar syrup and boil for few minutes till they soak the syrup well.

Step 8 : Let them cool and leave for few hours to soak well. Video Help
