
Location: Odisha.
Preference: Veg.
Ingredients: Chhena (Curdled Milk), Semolina, Flour, Water, Sugar.
Recipe at a Glance:
Step 1: Knead 350g chhena (1L Milk) and make it fine.
Step 2: Add 7g semolina and 3g flour, knead well and make it fine.
Step 3: Cut them into small pieces and give them required shape.
Step 4: Make a low consistency of sugar syrup using water and sugar, keep boiling.
Step 5: Put each chhena brick into the boiling sugar syrup and let them boil with cover.
Step 6: If the consistency of the sugar syrup becomes higher then add hot water frequently and boil with cover until chhena bricks tender completely and become fluffy with syrup.
Step 7: The sugar syrup consistency will be higher at end. Let them to soak for 8 hours. Video Help
