Ingredients: Jimikand (Elephant Foot Yam), Water, Salt, Tomato, Green Chilli, Ginger, Soyabean Oil, Cumin, Asafoetida, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Yogurt, Water, Sugar, Garam Masala, Coriander Leaves.
Recipe at a Glance:
Step 1: Peel off and chop jimikand.
Step 2: Boil chopped jimikand with salt and water and drain the water.
Step 3: Chop tomato and ginger, split green chilli.
Step 4: Fry boiled jimikand in soyabean oil and keep aside.
Step 5: Fry cumin, asafoetida, chopped ginger, split green chilli, chopped tomato, salt, turmeric powder.
Step 6: Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, yogurt, turn and fry.
Step 7: Add fried jimikand, turn and fry.
Step 8: Add water, turn and cook.
Step 9: Add sugar, garam masala, turn and cook.
