Location: West Bengal.
Ingredients: Coconut, Green Chilli, Mustard Seed, Patol (Pointed Gourd), Salt, Turmeric Powder, Sugar, Mustard Oil, Water.
Recipe at a Glance:
Step 1: Grate Coconut.
Step 2: Make a paste of grated Coconut, Green Chilli, Mustard Seed.
Step 3: Scrub and peel off Patol, and split the surface a little.
Step 4: Split Green Chilli.
Step 5: Marinate peeled off Patol with Paste, Salt, Turmeric Powder, Sugar and Mustard Oil, and seal the container tight.
Step 6: Float the sealed container onto boiling water and keep the water boiling till tendering the Patol inside.
Step 7: Open and check if it is tendered or not, if yes then it is ready to serve. Video Help
