Location: West Bengal.

Preference: Non-Veg.

Ingredients: Katla Mach (Catla Fish), Salt, Turmeric Powder, Potato, Green Chilli, Cumin, Ginger, Onion, Mustard Oil, Bay Leaves, Red Chilli Powder, Sugar, Water, Garam Masala.

Recipe at a Glance:

Step 1: Marinate chopped Katla Mach with Salt and Turmeric Powder.

Step 2: Peel off and chop Potato, split Green Chilli.

Step 3: Make a paste of Cumin, Ginger and Onion.

Step 4: Fry marinated Katla Mach in Mustard Oil, keep aside.

Step 5: Fry Cumin, Bay Leaves, chopped Potato.

Step 6: Add split Green Chilli, Paste, Salt, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, turn and fry.

Step 7: Add Sugar, turn and fry.

Step 8: Add Water and boil.

Step 9: Add fried Katla Mach, Garam Masala, cook with cover. Video Help
